One of the most charming cities in Italy, Florence

One of the most charming cities in Italy, Florence is filled with incredible art, music, food, history and architecture. Despite being the capital city of the Tuscany region, Florence is much calmer than many other major Italian cities, and maintains an almost "small town" feel.Birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence is home to the Uffizi Gallery; one of the most famous art galleries in the world with pieces by Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Botticelli and many others.It was also in Florence that the Florentine Camerata experimented with setting stories from Greek mythology to music.
